Vancouver, the eighth largest city in Canada has a population of 578,000 and is located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. According to Economist Intelligence Unit’s livability, the coastal city of Vancouver has been ranked first as the most livable city in the world in 2009 and its climate is one of the mildest climates in Canada. Vancouver is famous for its outstanding coastal scenery and for many years it has been ranked first by the United Nations as the “ Most Beautiful City in the world”.
